Tips on using Stain & Varnish

Left over stain Tip

1st clean the inside and outside of

paint can rim with a clear rag.

Replace the can lid tightly by gently

tapping it down with a rubber

mallet.

Store the can in a dry location, away

from heat, cold, or source of flame,

and out of the reach of children or

pets.


Applying the stain and varnish Tip

Apply your stain and varnish in sections and brush or wipe with a rag.


Remember the longer you leave on stain, the darker it will get

Stir before use!

Always stir your stain  & Varnish before staining since some of the color pigments can settle at the bottom of the can. And never shake your stain


Sand with the grain

Sand before you stain and always sand in the direction of the grain
